Azzalle is one of the northernmost provinces of Terre d'Ange. It was founded by Azza. Like the founder of their province, Azzallese are typically very proud. They are also skilled navigators and sail the ships of Azzalle's impressive fleet.
Geography[]
Azzalle's northern border consists of the coastline directly opposite Alba. The Pointe des Soeurs is the closest point to Alba. When Drustan mab Necthana's ship is sighted, the Azzallese typically send a messenger alerting the Queen. To the west Azzalle is bordered by Kusheth, to the south, Namarre. The Rhenus river marks Azzalle's eastern border with the Flatlands and Skaldia.
Azzalle saw some fighting during the Skaldi invasion. The Azzallese army held the Rhenus river, keeping the Skaldi from crossing.

The ruling house of Azzalle is Trevalion. Other noble houses include Fiscarde, Guillard and L'Oragen.

Azzalle roughly corresponds to the real life provinces of Normandy and Picardie in France, with the city of Callais the Pointe des Soeurs.
