Danele was a Yeshuite the wife of the weaver Taavi, with whom she had two young daughters, Maia and Rena. Danele and her family helped Joscelin Verreuil and Phèdre nó Delaunay after they escaped from slavery in Skaldia back to Terre d'Ange, concealing the pair from enemies and helping them travel across the countryside.
