Féderic Bardou was one of the men who served under Prince Thierry de la Courcel during his expedition to Terra Nova. During the return journey, after Moirin mac Fainche rescued Thierry and his men from Raphael de Mereliot, Bardou apparently died in the mountains in a sudden rockslide alongside Perrin de Fleury. Although Thierry ordered the group to spend almost a day digging amongst the rubble in the hopes of rescuing them, the creaking of rocks from above and Eyahue's warnings to leave pursuaded Thierry to abandon their efforts. The group then mourned de Fleury and Bardou and continued into the territory of the Cloud People.
