Marco Plautius Stregazza was the eldest son of Cesare Stregazza, the Doge of La Serenissima. With the help of his wife Marie-Celeste de la Courcel Stregazza and Melisande Shahrizai de la Courcel, he conspired to have his father step down pre-maturely from his position as Doge, so that Marco could take his place. However, these plans were foiled and Marco was arrested and disgraced.
