Severio Stregazza is the son of Marco Stregazza and Marie-Celeste de la Courcel Stregazza, making him the grandson of both Cesare Stregazza the Doge of La Serenissima and Prince Benedicte de la Courcel. He travels to Terre d'Ange in Kushiel's Chosen and becomes Phèdre nó Delaunay de Montrève's first patron after she returns to the service of Naamah
Phèdre's Assignation[]
Severio paid 20,000 ducats to be Phèdre's first patron after her re-dedication to Namaah in Kushiel's Chosen. During the assignation, he wore the mask of a Tiberian emperor. Phèdre played to his feelings of having been wronged by D'Angelines for his mixed heritage. Phèdre believed that if the price he paid for her would become known by D'Angeline peerage, their opinion of him would improve.
