Tabor Shahrizai was a member of House Shahrizai and a kinsman of Melisande Shahrizai de la Courcel. Tabor was one of the members of the family whose names Phèdre nó Delaunay had memorized during her training with Anafiel Delaunay, although she did not know his face.
Phèdre later encountered him, along with Marmion, Persia, Fanchone, Sacriphant and Melisande Shahrizai when the group passed through Night's Doorstep on their way to Valerian House after Melisande's betrayal of Prince Baudoin de Trevalion.
After Marmion was exiled for the death of his sister, Persia, there was a rumor that Tabor Shahrizai swore a blood feud against him. Diànne de Fhirze shared this rumor with Phèdre during an assignation.
