Tibault de Toluard was the Comte and and later Marquis of the D'Angeline province of Siovale. When the new Queen Ysandre de la Courcel faced betrayal from within Terre d'Ange and an impending Skaldi invasion from without, he was among the few d'Angeline nobles she trusted with that information. With the aid of de Toluard and others, Terre d'Ange was able to ward of the invaders from Skaldia. He was cousins with the mother of Yvonne Verreuil, and when Joscelin Verreuil and Phèdre nó Delaunay de Montrève came to Verreuil in search of the lost Prince Imriel de la Courcel, Yvonne appealed to her cousin for aid.
